Your Turn to Take the Reins at KissMyBass.fish

Parting is such sweet sorrow!

When I retired in 2014 my wife insisted that I WAS NOT going to just fish and play golf!  So she built me KissMyBass.fish.  We had a wonderful time planning, shaping, writing, and rewriting and eventually I got the hang of it.

My love for bass fishing was the driving force behind the web site…..until the New York weather became too damn much!  126″ of snow a year just became overwhelming and we decided to make a move south.  So in the spring of 2016 we moved, lock, stock, and bass boat to central Florida.  We found an incredible community (yes, 55+, with gates and all) in Leesburg, Florida.  Smack in the middle of Lake County with 1400 fresh water lakes and since it’s only 1 1/2 hours from either coast, it is a fisherman’s paradise.

At first we thought that we could manage KMB from here, but I quickly found out that I needed to be closer to the front lines in order to really stay on top of things the way I wanted.  Plus, my retired life has become busier than I ever expected it would be.  Our new home overlooks the 2nd green of the golf course and playing 3 times a week with the men’s league has reinvigorated my love of golf again.  Not to mention the numerous other social activities going on every week. And retirement travel, too – Europe and other great destinations. There’s just no way to keep up with a new business in the ways it needs attention.

So it is with very mixed emotions we offer KMB for sale.

If you have a love for fishing in New York, wish to grow it beyond NY, and would like to assist your fishing bretheren, and maybe make a bit of extra money on the side, then here is your opportunity.  Here are some basic details regarding the assets included in the sale.  Hopefully we can find a new owner that can further develop KMB into the GO-TO fishing spot that we envisioned.

If you are at all interested or have questions, please feel free to drop me an email (Ruby@KissMyBass.fish) and we will be glad to discuss the details.

Thanks for your participation and support and as ever……
